Wearing jewellery has always been a part of Indian culture. In the past, the ornaments were generally made of Gold or silver but in the recent times, artificial ornaments have taken the jewellery market by storm. Here are the latest trends in artificial jewellery which are gaining popularity.

1. Crown Style Maang tika

Maang Tikas have been always been an essential accessory. The classic maang tikas were simple chain with a small pendant. However, the Crown Styled Maang Tikas are the latest trend. If you want you can use any of your favourite necklaces as a tiara styled maang tika. Also, a maang tika need not necessarily be placed regularly around your crown. You can pin it up in a fashion that just covers your right or left temporal region.

2. Revamped Traditional Jhumkas

The revamped traditional jhumkas are one of the latest artificial jewellery. These can be worn with any ethnic or western wear. Sonam Kapoors Cannes look with a white gown and massive golden jhumkas are the best example of this style.

4. Extra Chunky Necklaces

Extra chunky neckpieces are also in vogue these days. These are available with huge pendants or in form of clusters of chains. You can style these with any clothing, but make sure that you wear smaller earrings to avoid overdoing the look.

5. Geometric necklaces

Geometric necklaces are a nice alternative to dangling chains and neckpieces. These are available in V-shaped, sturdy circles, semi-circles and are great to be worn to office owing to their simple yet classy design.

6. Double drawn necklaces

The double drawn necklaces have two chains, to one of which the pendant can be attached. There are also available in beads. Even the geometric necklace can be double drawn. Also, if you have a long chain in your jewellery box, you can fold it up as a double drawn chain.

7. Peacock Necklaces

The peacock necklaces are available in different shapes. One will find them in form of chain and pendant or these can also be asymmetric. These necklaces are comparatively heavier and should be preferably worn on special occasions.

8. Slave ring bracelets

The simple ring and bracelet have been replaced by the slave ring bracelet. These can have ring for one or more fingers attached to the bracelet via a chain. Besides the ring and the bracelet, even the chain can have a specific design. These are also known as haathphools.

The latest artificial jewellery designs have added to the beauty of women. These are high on fashion and are available at different price range. Those who cannot afford to invest in asset like gold or silver can safely use artificial jewellery as these are skin friendly. In addition, the artificial jewellery is available in varied designs and hence can be worn as a daily accessory and on special occasions.
