Instant Fame Photography Blog

It doesn't take a glamorous city backdrop, size zero waist, or designer duds to make a superstar. Sometimes all you need is a little imagination, a wicked sense of humor, and the willingness to let loose for a few hours. A boom box here and a tricycle there never really hurts either! Why be bored with bulky equipment, camera settings, and practiced poses when there's fun to be had? My goal is to capture colorful characters in even more colorful environments. You might say I'm a little color obsessed but, really, who wants to live in a black and white world?

I aim for originality and spunk. It might mean decking you out in elaborate costumes and fantastical make-up or it could be as simple as catching a sly, sideways smile when you least expect it. Life is full of moments to be collected on memory cards, if you ask me. Instant Fame Photography is all about making you the star you've always known yourself to be. I know, I know... it's FAT tuesday! But around here there's absolutely nothing photoshop can't fix! In honor of this special HOLIDAY we will be running around the parking lot wearing colorful masks and throwing beads at flashy cars! Laissez Les Bon Temps Roule!

All accessories were smuggled directly from New Orleans, Louisiana on the Crescent train line. The guilty party will remain anonymous

no ma'am i'm not playing hooky, i'm really sick this time. i don't know, maybe it's just the winter blues? in order for me to answer all these e-mails i'm gonna need more than this yucky dayquil syrup i've been taking all week. can you please bring me: sunshine, tanned skin, pool water, green grass, my underwater camera and yellow polka dot...tankini? oh and while your at it, five six maybe seven margaritas! dear summer, just hurry up!!!

I've been a busy little lady so far this year-- moving into a new apartment and preparing the business for upcoming adventures. Of course there's been a few unexpected turns and stop signs along the way... but now things are starting to smooth out and I'm ready to take off towards the fabulous year ahead. For starters, my blog looked skimpy and I felt awfully sorry for it. So I decided to set the emails & proofing aside for the night so I could get this much small talk in. Below you'll see that I've uploaded a few sneak peeks from my latest session with Kalandra Jordan. I've known her for several years, we met in biology class during my college days at GSU. We hadn't seen each other in almost two years so It was fun to re-unite. We seemed to pick up exactly where we left off... gossiping and laughing as we frantically shopped the mall for the perfect outfit! We finally pieced it all together-- dropped in at the MAC counter where Kim Kelly dazzled her up with a glamorous glow! Everything worked out perfectly, she's absolutely stunning and turned heads for the rest of the day! Did I say turned heads? I think she may of broke a few necks! :)

THANK YOU to my big sister Tiffany for reflector holding! Maybe you can come with me from now on?! I kinda like bossing you around! :)
