It doesn't take a glamorous city backdrop, size zero waist, or designer duds to make a superstar. Sometimes all you need is a little imagination, a wicked sense of humor, and the willingness to let loose for a few hours. A boom box here and a tricycle there never really hurts either! Why be bored with bulky equipment, camera settings, and practiced poses when there's fun to be had? My goal is to capture colorful characters in even more colorful environments. You might say I'm a little color obsessed but, really, who wants to live in a black and white world?

I aim for originality and spunk. It might mean decking you out in elaborate costumes and fantastical make-up or it could be as simple as catching a sly, sideways smile when you least expect it. Life is full of moments to be collected on memory cards, if you ask me. Instant Fame Photography is all about making you the star you've always known yourself to be. And this blog is where you'll first shine. Below you'll find some of my best images from my brightest small town stars. Fame needs fans so don't forget to add your two cents!

A picture of my sister Tiffany wearing her jammin' new birthday jacket that I bought for her at Vintage Ooollee. I fell in love with just about every single thing in the store! I'm telling you, it's a MUST that you go check this spot out-- 1121 Broad Street Augusta, GA 30901. Plus there is a costume store right next door that I'm totally bananas about-- Costumes by Michele. Looking for the perfect outfit for your session? There is no doubt about it-- they have it! The ladies are great (Ooollee & Michele), just tell 'em Instant Fame Photography sent you and they'll make you look real real snazzy!

December 18th was my mom's birthday. Being that she's a young fly wonder woman, her special day definitely required a twist and a shout! Since the eighteenth lands right smack in the middle of holiday madness, she decided she'd throw her annual Georgia Realty Sales company Christmas party on her birthday night. So here's the equation: What do you get when you add fourteen people to a limo that holds eight? Add in a fully stocked bar, radio cranked up to motown's greatest hits, and reservations to wine & dine at Harry Bissetts. Now, subtract all the real estate wheelin-n-dealin and drop 'em off downtown Athens at the jammin' little 80's bar? The answer: A damn good time and probably a few signed contracts!

Come to think of it, I left out one of the most important parts to the equation above. If the party was held on the 18th of December and my my sister (Tiffany) and I were asked to give a career speech for 498 middle school kids at 8 a.m. on December 19th... how in that heck is that possible? Don't think about it too hard, it's definitely a trick question... there is no correct answer. Let's just say Tiffany got a few hours of sleep and I was the nervous wreck that stayed up all night and still shuddered like a crazy woman when I got up to that big tall scary podium... TO BE CONTINUED!
